Code of ethics and whistleblower procedure
In line with how important the issue of accountability is to us, SPIE adheres to the highest standards of ethics and integrity. This is not only to ensure that our practices comply with applicable laws and regulations, but also to earn and maintain the trust of our stakeholders over the long term.
Our rules of conduct are set out in the Code of Ethics, as well as in the Code of Ethics Implementation Manual, made available to all employees. Our employees and contractors may also report any behaviour they consider to be unethical, based on SPIE's Procedure for making and processing reports.

In July 2022, SPIE published a new Code of Ethics and Procedure for making and processing submissions. In doing so, SPIE is committed to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
