Leader in the green economy and sustainability

As part of its CSR policy, SPIE focuses on the transition to a low-carbon economy. Together with partners, we promote solutions that save energy and increase energy efficiency. SPIE also engages in activities related to sustainable energy production and distribution, supporting its clients with energy-saving projects by implementing innovative technical solutions. The group evaluates the services it provides in three key areas of activity, using rigorous technical criteria:

• Building technical systems

• Services for electricity transmission and distribution networks and RES installations

• Technical services for ecomobility infrastructure

SPIE is actively working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in its operations. The Group is converting its fleet of vehicles to electric and improving the energy efficiency of its buildings. SPIE has been a pioneer in engaging suppliers to reduce their carbon footprint. We are successfully increasing the proportion of electric vehicles in our fleet and implementing greener IT solutions.

SPIE Switzerland already has 30 vehicles running on CNG (compressed natural gas). In addition, SPIE Oil & Gas Services planted 1019 trees in 2017, a further step towards sustainability.
